Hello! It’s time for us fans to gather up and help S/mileage to debut properly. That’s if you haven’t done so yet. So as most of you probably know, producer Tsunku has made a challenge for S/mileage – they should gather 10.000 photos of smiling people by the 25th of March. Hello! It’s the strawberry day today! Ah well – for those of you that don’t know for some reason, it’s Fukuda Kanon’s 15th birthday today. Well actually her birthday was yesterday by Japanese time, so I think that’s a bit of a late-congratulation so to say. But anyway I want to congratulate her with her 15th birthday and wish her a good luck, good health and so that nothing makes her feel depressed.
Hello! After a long time I’m reviving the “news batch” series of posts aimed more on telling you “what to look forward to” than telling you about the very fresh news.
The DVD of the horror movie titled “Fuyu no Kaidan ~Boku to Watashi to O-baa-chan no Monogatari~” starring Yajima Maimi and Fukuda Kanon was released on 6th of January. Personally I will be watching it no matter how trash-ish it would be for the sake of Maimi\Kanyon goodness.
And you can of course order it(if your a fan of such movies).
Choose whatever shop you like(or what ever shop is more convenient for you in terms of shipping price or stuff like that).
And also on 6th of January the 11th single of ℃-ute titled “Shock!” was released. I think I won’t express my opinion in the news post, so I’ll leave that to you – besides everyone has one’s own opinion.

Mano Erina released her 2nd photobook on 20th of January. There’s already couple of previews(as well as the cover) and there’s a digest of the DVD(Mano Guide) on - Dohhh UP! –

The prices are pretty much the same – though at CDJapan it’s a bit cheaper and YesAsia already includes the transportation costs into the price.
Buono! are to release their 10th single on 3rd of February it is titled “Our Songs”
Also on 10th of February,Morning Musume will unleash yet another bunch of limited editions(and one regular) for their “Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai” 42nd single.
Also on 24th of February, ℃-ute are to release 5th album titled “Shocking 5″ no covers are available yet – I’ll probably post up about it as soon as there’s more info available.
On 25th of February, 8th Photobook of Kamei Eri is to be released. Also not much info is available currently except its title “Sweet”. As usual – there also would be the DVD for this, on 3rd of March. Title is still TBA.
Also on 3rd of March, Berryz Koubou 22nd Single(double-a side again) is to be released.
The title is “Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda! / Otakebi Boy WAO!”
So that’s pretty much all of the January-February(plus couple of March) announced releases. I will post the March releases news batch as well as additional info upon the titles that are still without much info at all – as soon as more info will be known.
Hello! This post will also be pretty short, but these are great news. I think you remember that a new unit, formed from chosen members of Hello!Pro Eggs – Wada Ayaka, Maeda Yuuka, Fukuda Kanon and Ogawa Saki – was to make a debut somewhere in autumn. And that its title was still unknown. Well according to the post in Tsunku’s Ameblog this new unit is now called S/mileage. As Tsunku writes in his blog – the name contains three words in itself. The words are – smile, age and mileage. Whatever he meant by this whole Age of Smile thing he mentions in his blog – I really like this title.
I think that this is a somewhat interesting title, because except those three words it contains also lots of other allusions, which can be chosen by anyone in his(or her) own preferring. And this name is a lot better than Ice-cream Musume’s because of two factors – it’s not Ice-cream and it doesn’t contain “Musume” part. I can’t wait for this new unit to release something, but I think that it will sound great.
Hello! I decided to pick up a good tradition that I’ve started some months ago and which went down to hiatus. And so I present you 5th edition of News batch.
New unit to be created from Hello!Pro Egg members.

As stated in Tsunku-san blog, a new unit, consisting of 4 Hello!Pro Eggs – Wada Ayaka, Maeda Yuuka, Fukuda Kanon and Ogawa Saki. They are to make their major debut in autumn this year. Unit title is not yet announced. All we can do now is just wait until some more information will be posted somewher.

H!P New unit Guardians 4 debut single to be released on 27th of May.
Newly created Shugo Chara Doki unit Guardians 4 – consisting of Mitsui Aika, Kumai Yurina, Sugaya Risako and Nakajima Saki – is to release a debut single on 27th of May. Its title is – ‘Omakase ♪ Guardian’ This single is a new opening to the currently airing Shugo Chara Doki series.

Morning Musume to release 39th single.
It seems like just only yesterday Momusme has released their 38th single and now we have another one waiting. It is to be released on 13th of May in three editions – Limited A, Limited B and Regular. Covers are not yet available, it’s too far away. For the same reason there is no PV or previews. And there is also no track list yet.
Hello! There’s some news that I’d like to share. First things first – Sayumi’s photobook now has official cover.
Sayumi is great here – but I don’t like the concept of bikini-shot on cover – I’d rather see something more interesting and intriguing. But I never judge anything by its cover – so I’ll see what the book itself turns out to be. And it’s going to be released on 26th of September – so it’s not that long wait.
Next – if you remember – I already posted here news regarding formation of new unit for Shugo Chara. We already know who are the members, what the unit is called and even what their first single is called, as well as when it’s going to be released.
So the unit is called Shugo Chara Egg. It consists of Hello!Pro Eggs – Fukuda Kanon, Wada Ayaka, Saho Akari, Maeda Yuuka.

Their debut single is called Minna no Tamago and it will be released on 10th of December.
Now what I think about this unit – before I start to listen them – the unit is pretty good – even though I’m not H!P Egg fan – I like it from the very beginning. I also like the outfits – though they are very different from Buono!’s one. But this unit is more closely related to the anime, as far as I know, than Buono!
And also – regarding Buono! – it will not be disbanded any soon, that’s as far as I see.
I will put some photos after all – these are from Sanspo.com article about Shugo Chara Egg debut live. I will probably translate it later.
But that’s not all the news. One more thing left. You probably know that audition in Taiwan “Hello!Project New Star” was held by Hello!Project. It was held – because now it is over and the winners are announced. Both on Hello!Project Chinese Official Site and in Tsunku’s blog – an information regarding this has been posted. For now I’ll post up photo from the event and member photos, you can also see them here(hello-project.com.tw) and here(Tsunku blog) – but I’ll post them up here for your convenience.

I didn’t follow these auditions – just because I wasn’t that interested in them, but since it’s H!P related – I’ve posted them here. As far as I’ve read – they will probably take training in Japan and then return to Taiwan to make a debut single or something – so they are basically an addition to main H!P as H!P China.
